We can provide gaffer, lighting, film editing and anything else needed to facilitate your film projects. Our varied projects include short and feature films, music videos, promotional videos, television shows, multi-cam broadcasts and commercials,. We provide pre to post production, film crews, equipment rentals and more.
John McClung is the founder of Big Dog Video Productions. Recently John was co-founder of Off The Wire Studios and was Programming Director at WRRW/WYOU.
John has worked in the video/film business for many years and has shot and/or co-produced several feature films, some with national distribution, numerous TV shows, and hundreds of commercials, EPK’s, and music videos for artists including Missy Elliot, Gwen Stefani, Salt N’ Peppa, and Green Day, and many others.
From 2009-2014, John McClung worked with Eric Hales of Off the Wire Studios to help establish that film production company and continues to work with Eric Hales on projects that include the ghost investigation series, R.I.P. Files and the industrial video Manufacturing Marvels for Fox Business channel.
John worked with Hype Williams and Derrick Borte with fundamentals that helped launch their success in Hollywood. In addition to film and video production, John is a skilled technical engineer., having operated and repaired all types of broadcast equipment and providing complete engineering for radio stations, including FCC applications, as well as structuring, designing, and installing transmission, microwave, and studio equipment.
